WaterWise Symposium – Drought Management

July 7, 2015 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

As the importance of water conservation escalates in regard to the design, installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, new technologies are rapidly emerging in an effort to save water in the landscape.

Each year, Ewing hosts several WaterWise Symposiums throughout the country focusing on a wide range of irrigation and water use and efficiency.

Though every symposium varies slightly due to regional pertinence, topics covered may include:

  • National and regional water issues
  • The green movement and irrigation industry initiatives
  • USGBC LEED® & ASLA Sites Initiative
  • Impact of water issues on the Green Industry
  • Understanding sustainable landscaping
  • SMART technologies and quantifying water savingsews_lgo_ewing
  • Irrigation design and water conservation
  • Local restrictions and regulations
  • Water conservation in the landscape
