The UCCE Master Gardeners of Sacramento County are joining the Sacramento Tree Foundation and the Sacramento County Water Agency for a Take a Shower, Save a Tree workshop.

Master Gardeners will talk about the benefits of selecting Mediterranean-climate and California native plants for creating an attractive and water-conserving landscape. Sacramento Tree Foundation will tell you how to identify signs of water stress and how to do simple soil moisture monitoring.  You will learn responsible watering techniques for both young and mature trees.

Registration is not required, but is recommended to secure your tree watering bucket filled with fun gardening and water conservation items. Register and get more information at takeashowersaveatree.org.
