Who can benefit from attending?

Regardless of whether we have experience developing MWELO-compliant plans or not, there’s always more to learn. Ours is a dynamic profession. As APLD members and affiliated professionals, we must actively participate in continuing education that strengthens our creativity, knowledge, and skills.

Why is this training important?

It’s vital that we remain abreast of California legislation that may support and impact us as practitioners. The MWELO is adopted, and possibly updated, every three years, so it’s not simply something to review once and never look at again. The intent of MWELO, in part, is to promote the conservation and efficient use of water, while conserving biodiversity and increasing climate resiliency. Understanding MWELO and using these best practices can help bolster our businesses and elevate the services we offer our clients.
