- See your garden as a mini-watershed
- Create Living Soil that holds onto water
- Treat rainwater as an abundant resource
- Remove unwanted turf without using chemicals
- Select the right plant for the right place
- Manage irrigation to eliminate waste and runoff
AFTERNOON SESSION: Hands-on Landscape Design
This interactive workshop helps you design a successful Watershed Wise landscape. Learn how to:
- Contour the landscape for maximum rainwater capture
- Create a list of climate appropriate plants
- Place plants on a property plan according to water needs and key design principles
Lunch is included with registration.
