The public is invited to attend two free gardening workshops on Saturday, October 21, 2017:

9-10 am      “Basic Composting”
Learn the basics of backyard composting.

10-11 am    “The Benefits of Planting California Native Plants”
Learn how planting a variety of California native plants can beautify your yard while also creating a vibrant garden alive with bees, birds, and butterflies.

Rain will cancel. Please dress for the weather. Registration is not required. The workshops will be held outdoors at the Master Gardeners of Placer County Demonstration Garden, 11477 E Avenue, in the DeWitt Center, Auburn (enter via Richardson Drive and 3rd Street).
