RescapeReScape California WaterSmart Workshop for the City of West Sacramento:

A three-hour workshop that addresses the needs of those who have and haven’t replaced their lawns with water-wise ornamental landscapes. Using River-Friendly principles. Attendees receive a printed copy of “A Seasonal Guide to Keep Your Eco-Friendly Landscape Looking Great.”

You Will Learn:

  • What to do on a seasonal basis to keep your plants happy and healthy
  • How to get the upper hand in the war on weeds
  •  How to maintain and adjust your drip system as your landscape matures
  • How to manage common plant diseases and insect pests
  • When fertilizer might be necessary, and when it’s not
  • When to add compost and mulch
  • How and when to prune to keep your shrubs, ornamental grasses and other plants looking great
