The Fishhead Lake mitigation wetlands were created as mitigation for earlier wetland losses. The wetland and surrounding uplands are home to waterfowl, songbirds and raptors. Native wildflowers here bloom in early spring. Visitors will receive a packet of native flower seeds.

The meeting location is weather-dependent, so please contact Roger Jones (preferably via email jonesro@sacsewer.com or 916/875-9174) the week preceding the event for exact meeting location and directions. Please note, we can only take reservations the week preceding the event. No pets please!
