Healthy Plants and Trees from the Ground Up – In the garden, plants and trees are stirring. Learn how to amend soils and prune ornamental and fruit trees to yield bountiful harvests and beautiful landscapes to enjoy this summer.

This course is designed for the experienced composter. We will cover topics such as “hot composting,” the carbon/nitrogen ratio and harvesting techniques. This course will also include vermicomposting (composting with worms) and brewing vermicompost tea for your garden. Each participating family will receive a compost bin (truck, van or SUV needed to transport).
