The Regional Water Authority (RWA) and local water providers are offering a new rebate program to help businesses upgrade their indoor water-using equipment to reduce water and energy use. Each eligible property could receive up to $15,000 in indoor water-efficient equipment.
The program is open to commercial, industrial and institutional properties (such as commercial laundry, food and beverage, science/research and brewery facilities) within the RWA-member area in Sacramento, Placer and El Dorado counties plus the City of West Sacramento.
Qualifying properties can receive funding to replace older fixtures and appliances with high-efficiency models. These may include dishwashers, faucets, and equipment for sterilization, flushing and bottling, cooling and other ideas businesses may have to save water.
Funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis until the program budget is exhausted. Projects must be installed and completed by December 2025.
For more information and to find out if your property qualifies, please contact Amy Talbot at atalbot@rwah2o.org or 916-967-7692.

Funding for this project has been provided in full or in part from the Water Quality, Supply, and Infrastructure Improvement Act of 2014 and through an agreement with the California Department of Water Resources.
