This event will be a presentation of the concepts presented in the handout booklet, A Homeowner’s Guide to a WaterSmart Landscape. It will cover a step-by-step process to a beautiful and water-efficient landscape.  There will be 6 steps presented: Site Assessment, Setting a Landscape Goal for Water Efficiency, Creating a Basic Plot Plan, Creating a Landscape Design, Implementing the Plan, and Care for the Landscape (irrigation, pest management and  cultural techniques). The booklet is a very comprehensive and detailed review of each area. The goal of the presentation is to educate the public on how to best utilize and understand the concepts and methods to fit their own needs. Additional displays will promote other related resources both locally and state wide. There will also be time allotted for interaction with the audience, and Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions.
