Spring Tune-Up – The sun is shining and gardens are growing. Prepare for the hot days ahead and you can keep your plants happy and healthy all summer long.

This course is designed for the experienced composter. We will cover topics such as “hot composting,” the carbon/nitrogen ratio and harvesting techniques. This course will also include vermicomposting (composting with worms) and brewing vermicompost tea for your garden. Each participating family will receive a compost bin (truck, van or SUV needed to transport).
