Creating a Living Landscape

$45As habitat for insects and animals becomes scarce, living landscapes become important places of refuge for wildlife, while at the same time adding biological diversity to cities. Come to this workshop to learn about how to create a living landscape and garden ecologically. Topics include:
- Plants that provide refugia* for Wildlife
- Not-so-common pollinators
- Cool tools to control garden pests
- How to create a green roof
- Attracting birds to your backyard

Directions: from I-80, take CA-113 N towards Woodland, then take the Hutchison drive exit toward UC Davis. Turn right onto Health Sciences Drive. Park in lot VP53 or VP54. Parking is free on weekends.
