In this workshop, guest presenter, Nicolai Laquaglia will address all the reasons why “healthy soil” matters and how you can help your garden grow by first “growing your soil”. Nicolai is a UCCE Master Gardener, a certified Green Gardener, a sustainable landscape expert and the owner of asustainablelandscape.com.

Learn not only WHY a living healthy soil matters (it’s filled with nutrients, protects plants from pests, improves water use, etc) but HOW you can build a healthy landscape through layer mulching, vermicompost and more.
