Home Landscapes with a Sense of Place

May 9, 2015 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Join us for a fun, informative program that will get you excited to replace your lawn!

Chris Lewis of the California Native Plant Society and Elderberry Farms Native Plant Nursery will discuss how native California plants are not only water-efficient, but low-maintenance. Participants will learn about common varieties used in today’s landscaping and how to care for them.

During the field study, the group will have a chance to see just how beautiful these landscapes can be at the Elderberry Farms Nursery and Demonstration Gardens!

Let go of the traditional “English idea” of what a yard should look like… and embrace a new state of gardening – the state of CALIFORNIA!

You can find out more about Chris and the California Native Plant Society at www.sacvalleycnps.org
