Learn & Shop: Make a Pollinator Garden Paradise
April 10, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
$29Want to make your yard come alive with butterflies, bees and birds? It’s easy if you pick the right mixture of plants to grow a healthy haven for pollinators. Learn how to create a pollinator paradise in your own garden as a place of beauty and to help offset the challenges pollinators face in our increasingly urbanized landscapes.
The first 75 minutes will be a talk by our Director of Horticulture, Ellen Zagory, as she shares her expertise about creating gardens that provide diverse habitat for pollinators of all types. Most of the plants she features will be available for sale in our one-acre Arboretum Teaching Nursery. Following the talk with Ellen, you’ll have time to browse and choose your own pollinator-friendly selections to take home from our extensive collection of UC Davis-grown plants.
