Starting with the ever-important soil, touching upon plant hormones and ending up with an exploration of unique drought tolerant plants for the Mediterranean garden – this talk will help your garden thrive!

About Marlene Simon:
Marlene Simon received a degree from UC Davis in Environmental Horticulture but her education in gardening began at the age of six when she would order bulbs off the backside of the Parade Magazine. Now as staff horticulturalist at the UC Davis Botanical Conservatory, she is living her dream of working with the world’s most unique plants.
