A Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance (MWELO) Training that includes an expansive look at the ordinance and explores an array of design strategies that meet the standard. This training includes interactive design activities where you apply the concepts covered.

This new five-hour interactive ReScape webinar will be taught by an experienced MWELO plan checker/inspector and Landscape Architect. The Workshop is guided by ReScape’s 8 Principles for Regenerative Landscapes to help plan checkers and inspectors comply with MWELO by providing an in-depth look at the regulations. The presentation will include an overview of MWELO, requirements for the Performance and Prescriptive (Appendix D) compliance pathways, regulation clarifications, answers to common project scenarios, plan set errors, and questions, and tips for performing plan checks and inspections. The training will also include a hands-on plan review and inspection activity that covers key concepts.
