The Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper Professional certification program provides landscape professionals 21 hours of education on principals of proper plant selection for the local climate, irrigation system design and maintenance, irrigation system programing and operation and sustainable landscaping. In order to obtain the QWEL certification, an individual must demonstrate their ability to perform an irrigation system audit as well as pass the QWEL exam. This course qualifies for CEUs.

Class will be held on Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the following dates:

• April 8 – Classroom
• April 15 – Classroom
• April 22 – Classroom/Irrigation Audit – The audit will be held at Rusch Park
• April 29 –  Classroom/Exam

QWEL is recognized as a WaterSense labeled Professional Certification Program for Irrigation System Audits. Upon successful completion graduates may choose to be listed as a Certified Professional on the WaterSense website.
