How often should you water succulents? There’s no one answer because the size of the pot and its location in your garden play a factor. But here’s an easy tip that is just like the toothpick test for checking if a cake is done: Push a small wooden stick into the soil near the succulent’s roots. If it comes out with moist soil crumbs on the bottom, there’s no need to water.
